Treatment Order

TMJ treatment order is a sequence of decisions, not a treatment menu.

This page explains why symptoms and examination findings are organized before muscle care, bite review, appliance decisions, or follow-up.

Adapted from official Korean source content for multilingual patient education.

What This Page Clarifies

Step 1

Symptoms and previous tests are organized

Pain timing, jaw movement, dental or ENT findings, and previous treatment response are reviewed.

Step 2

Muscle and movement are stabilized first when appropriate

The clinic avoids jumping straight to irreversible bite changes.

Step 3

Appliance or bite decisions come after evaluation

Splints and bite decisions are considered after symptom, muscle, movement, and record review.
